3D-Components AS (3DC), a Norwegian deep-tech SME, specialises in additive manufacturing and metal 3D printing. Since 2016, they have been leading innovation in industrial AM and welding through collaborations with leading research and industry partners. Their patent-pending RobTrack system, which integrates AI/ML in welding and DED, has attracted interest from various industry leaders. RobTrack's latest innovation allows users to run high-throughput finite element simulations on HPC and collect results to further develop a physics-based AI algorithm. This AI improves decision making in setting optimal process parameters for welding and additive manufacturing processes.
