BIFI Institute - University of Zaragoza
The BIFI Institute was established in 2002 through the collaboration of physicists, computer scientists, and biochemists. One of the Institute’s core strengths is its substantial computing power, available since its foundation—an essential asset for conducting research on complex systems.
The BIFI data centre provides services to numerous research groups from various countries, contributing to many leading European projects in high-performance and distributed computing, as well as participating in the Spanish Supercomputing Network. A significant number of technology transfer projects have been launched in collaboration with companies, through both direct contracts and competitive regional, national, and European programmes.
