BIOS Agrosystems
BIOS Agrosystems SA is an agricultural SME with a strong focus on seed improvement and climate-resilient crops. The company processes a significant share of Greek seed production, managing 50% of cotton seed, 15% of alfalfa, and 2% of cereal crops. BIOS exports high-quality seeds to Turkey, the Balkans, the Middle East, and North Africa, and operates a major seed processing plant in Xanthi, Greece. As an end-user of the GENESIS project, BIOS contributes valuable expertise through its genetic and phenotypic data, along with extensive seed trial records. This data enhances the machine learning models developed by bSpoke. BIOS plays a key role in ensuring that GENESIS meets the practical needs of agriculture and supports its adoption in real-world settings
