Crédit Agricole Group
The Crédit Agricole Italia Banking Group was established in 2007 with the acquisition of Cariparma and Piacenza, Banca Popolare FriulAdria, and 209 branches from Intesa Sanpaolo. In 2011, it acquired Carispezia and 96 more branches. In 2017, it purchased the Savings Banks of Cesena, Rimini, and San Miniato, exceeding 2 million customers. In 2021, it completed the acquisition of Credito Valtellinese, integrating Creval in 2022, becoming the sixth-largest commercial bank in Italy. In 2022, it integrated FriulAdria. As part of the Crédit Agricole group, it confirms its position at the top of the Italian banking system, covering all market segments through various banking channels.
