FLOW & OPTIMIZATION, SOFTWARE & SERVICES (FOSS)
FOSS is an SME founded in 2013 with the aim of providing high-quality software and services in the fields of optimisation and CFD to support industrial applications. The company focuses on the development, programming, and application of gradient-based (adjoint) and evolutionary optimisation algorithms, incorporating artificial intelligence and machine learning for CFD and multidisciplinary optimisation problems. In collaboration with the National Technical University of Athens, FOSS has contributed to the publicly available OpenFOAM-based framework for shape and topology optimisation using adjoint methods (adjointOptimisationFoam). FOSS is actively involved in the NEXTAIR and MSCA DN-IN BLESSED projects.
