ECAD Laboratory, part of the University of Ljubljana, is a research centre specialising in computer-aided design (CAD), engineering simulations, and digital manufacturing technologies. With a strong focus on HPC, LECAD plays a key role in solving complex engineering challenges across various industries, including fusion technology.
Through HPC-driven simulations, the lab accelerates the development of Digital Twins, optimises engineering designs, and enhances the precision and efficiency of computational models. LECAD is actively involved in international projects, such as EuroCC2 and ExcelleratP2, leveraging HPC to advance research in fusion technology, structural analysis, and advanced manufacturing.
