In May, FFplus partners visited the ISC24 Conference in Hamburg, where they took the opportunity to meet and prepare an efficient plan for launching FFplus project activities.

FFplus continues the Fortissimo journey, which has been extremely fruitful, connecting businesses with cutting-edge technologies and driving innovation in the European industry.

Activities began on the first day of the project launch, May 1st, with the first open call for SMEs and startups to submit their business experiments or innovation studies set to launch this summer.

Detailed open call information and the application site will be available by the first week of July.

The project is funded by the Digital Europe Programme (DEP), an EU funding programme focused on bringing digital technology to businesses, citizens, and public administrations, with a total budget of up to EUR 30 million.

The project started on 1 May 2024 and is due to run for 48 months.

FFplus is managed and coordinated by a consortium of six partners who participated in earlier Fortissimo projects: University of Stuttgart, Scapos AG, Teratec, CINECA, CESGA, Arctur, and CYFRONET. Geographically, the consortium covers six European countries: Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Spain, and Slovenia. This enables the simultaneous strengthening of pan-European activities and linking FFplus with strong national and regional activities.
